True to it’s name, MGM’s Ziegfeld Follies (1946) went straight for the kinky yet glamorous parade of semi-clothed women… women dressed like cats, being corralled by a whip-wielding Lucille Ball.

Interesting that while the pre-Code musical from 1929 showed more “skin,” the “wholesome” production from 1946 actually seems more perverse.
