The Robert Altman Award is given to a film’s director, casting director, and ensemble cast, and this year it goes to Sean Baker’s Starlet.

The 19th annual Someone to Watch Award grants one filmmaker a $25K unrestricted grant, and the finalists are:

David Fenster for Pincus.
Adam Leon for Gimme the Loot.
Rebecca Thomas for Electrick Children.

The Piaget Producers Award includes a $25K unrestricted grant, and this year’s nominees are:

Mynette Louie for Stones in the Sun.
Derrick Tseng for Prince Avalanche.
Alicia Van Couvering for Nobody Walks.

The Stella Artois Truer than Fiction Award gives an emerging feature doc director a $25K unrestricted grant, and the finalists are:

Peter Nicks for The Waiting Room.
Lucien Castaing-Taylor and Verena Paravel for Leviathan.
Jasonyyee Tippet and Elizabeth Mimms for Only the Young.
