Now in just its second year, the Museum of the Moving Image‘s First Look is already proving itself to be one of the most noteworthy curatorial efforts anywhere. Programmed by Moving Image Source editor Dennis Lim, Assistant Curator of Film Rachael Rakes, and Chief Curator David Schwartz, First Look aims to be “a showcase for inventive, groundbreaking new international cinema.” Take a look at last year’s lineup; and here are the films that’ll be screening from January 3 through 13:
