The Panorama section of the 64th Berlin International Film Festival, running from February 6 through 16, will eventually be comprised of around 50 narrative and documentary features. Today, following announcements of the first titles lined up for the Competition, Generation, and Perspektive Deutsches Kino programs, the Berlinale’s giving us a look at the first 19 of those 50 titles.

Joselito Altarejos’s Unfriend (Philippines). World premiere.

Kutluğ Ataman’s The Lamb (Germany and Turkey). With Nesrin Cavadzade, Cahit Gök, Mert Taştan, Sıla Lara Cantürk, and Nursel Köse. World premiere.

Jayan Cherian’s Papilio Buddha (India and USA). With Kallen Pokkudan, Saritha Sunil, Sreekumar SP, David Briggs, Prakash Bare, and Thampy Antony. European premiere.

Cho Li’s Bai Mi Zha Dan Ke (The Rice Bomber, Taiwan). With Huang Chien-wei, Nikki Hsieh, and Michael Chang. World premiere.

A. J. Edwards’s The Better Angels (USA). With Jason Clarke, Diane Kruger, Brit Marling, and Wes Bentley. International premiere.

Maximilian Erlenwein’s Stereo (Germany). With Jürgen Vogel, Moritz Bleibtreu, Petra Schmidt-Schaller, Georg Friedrich, and Rainer Bock. World premiere.

Sophie Fillières’s Arrête ou je continue (If You Don’t, I Will, France). With Emmanuelle Devos and Mathieu Amalric. World premiere.

Marcelo Gomes and Cao Guimarães’s O Homem das Multidões (The Man of the Crowd, Brazil). With Paulo André and Silvia Lourenço. International premiere.

Michel Gondry’s Is the Man Who Is Tall Happy? (France). With Noam Chomsky. World premiere.

Robert Lepage and Pedro Pires’s Triptyque (Triptych, Canada). With Lise Castonguay, Frédérike Bédard, and Hans Piersbergen. International premiere.

Jalil Lespert‘s Yves Saint Laurent (France). With Pierre Niney, Guillaume Gallienne, Charlotte Le Bon, Laura Smet, and Marie De Villepin. International premiere and the Opening film of the Panaroma Special program.

John Michael McDonagh’s Calvary (Ireland and Great Britain). With Brendan Gleeson, Chris O’Dowd, Kelly Reilly, and Aidan Gillen. European premiere.
