With a total of nine, Yann Demange’s ’71 leads the nominations for the 17th British Independent Film Awards. Matthew Warchus’s Pride follows with seven, while Daniel Wolfe’s Catch Me Daddy, Lenny Abrahamson’s Frank and Mike Leigh’s Mr. Turner each score five. Tom Hooper is heading up the jury and the awards will be presented on December 7 in London.
