Mark your calendar for Friday July 29, the date for our second coordinated theatrical and digital premiere event. We are following our online release of David Holzman’s Diary with another underrated gem, the acclaimed documentary sleep furiously directed by Gideon Koppel. Released in the UK in 2010, sleep furiously was well-received by British critics and audiences: Time Out gave it five stars out of five, Sight and Sound hailed it as a “masterpiece” and the Guardian picked it as the best first feature of 2010. Now it makes its US debut, with a limited theatrical run at Cinema Village in New York, coordinated with an exclusive 24-hour digital premiere on Fandor on July 29.
