Katie Taylor, a Hollywood casting director, leaves her career behind in order to teach filmmaking to the youth of an impoverished South African community. Initially intending only to equip them with employment opportunities, she quickly discovers the therapeutic impact on her students. The students find themselves bridging cultural barriers as they become united through filmmaking.
