This giant dose of Blaxploitation eye candy was described by critic Roger Ebert as “the first black motorcycle gang rock sci-fi musical…” Originally distributed by Roger Corman’s New World Pictures, the plot concerns the mother of a black biker babe being abducted by an evil chicken ‘n ribs tycoon. The costumes alone are worth the price of admission. If the pink and yellow jumpsuits don’t grab ya, you might like the soulful soundtrack; it’s highlighted by The Dramatics singing ‘What You See is What You Get’.
